About Jordan Fakhoury, DO
Dr. Jordan Fakhoury is a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. He was born in Yonkers, NY and obtained his undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received multiple scholastic awards including a Honorable Distinction in Research. He attended NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine here on Long Island after which he completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Northwell Health’s Huntington, Manhasset and LIJ hospitals. Dr. Fakhoury subsequently completed his Orthopedic Spine Fellowship at the prestigious Kaiser Permanente Regional Spine Center in Oakland, California trained by world class orthopedic spine and neurosurgeons.
Dr. Fakhoury distinguishes himself with his motion-preserving surgical options. In addition, he performs a wide range of surgical procedures including minimally invasive spine surgeries (endoscopic, microscopic and robotic) to spinal reconstructive surgery as well as cervical and lumbar disc replacements and spinal tumors.
Dr. Fakhoury has traveled to different parts of the world to perform surgery. Most recently, he was invited to attend a mission trip through the organization, Standing Straight Inc, a non-profit humanitarian organization. Alongside surgeons from across the globe, Dr. Fakhoury and his fellowship program director, Dr. Ravi Bains performed complex spinal deformity surgeries for impoverished children and adolescents in India. He is an active member in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS), North American Spine Society (NASS), the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), and the International Society for the Advancement of Spinal Surgery (ISASS). He is truly a product of his environment and is excited to help treat those where he grew up, trained and beyond.
Dr. Fakhoury will be seeing patients in our Plainview, Massapequa, Rockville Centre and Yonkers offices.
