About Shazaan Hushmendy, MD

Dr. Shazaan Hushmendy received his education and training at Rensselear Polytechnic Insutitute, Albany Medical Center and the world-renowned Lenox Hill Hospital at Northwell Health.

Dr. Hushmendy expertise includes anterior total hip replacements, minimally invasive total knee replacements, partial knee replacements, robotic-assisted replacements, complex total joint revisions and surgical management of complex fractures.

Dr. Hushmendy advocates and specializes is in the anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty utilizing  Hana® table. He utilizes this muscle-sparing approach for less post-operative pain and to allow patients to have a faster and safer recovery.
